Frelia

The neighboring town of Iris, Frelia is the attempt for the outside world to gain resources from the plentiful land inside the circular mountain range. Most of the villagers are first generation just trying to establish homes and farms. For the sake of progress, this town burned out a part of the forest to quickly establish a basecamp before the town of Iris could revolt. Although relations between Iris and Frelia were initially tense, years gone by relations have improved. In an unspoken agreement, Frelia brings outside resources needed for research to Iris, and in exchange the villagers of Iris help Frelia with difficult tasks that they otherwise do not have the knowledge to complete.

Neither village visits the other often, mostly due to the fact that Irisians seldom want contact with outsiders: especially Frelians. A giant cliff named Volida’s Peak also makes it very hard to travel safely between the two villages, further discouraging any communications between the villages.
