Taisteal

Meaning: Travel | Pronunciation: [tah-sh-till]

Taisteal is one of two types of magic that allow Umana to manipulate matter by bending it. By taking a three dimensional space, Umana can connect two points that would not normally connect. The result is a portal that allows any creature to travel from one point to another with the distance between points closed off.

As Taisteal allows two points to be pushed closer to each other, two points can also be pulled apart. (This concept can also be through as expanding a single point.) The result allows the user to essentially push away objects.

By using both expansion and contraction of points, a wielder of Taisteal can teleport essentially infinite distances within a very short amount of time. There are unknown limitations/side affects to this power and it requires an enormous amount of energy to teleport any significant distances.

Whenever an Umana uses Taisteal magic, their hands tend to glow light red from a strange illumination originating from the subtle manipulation of electrical signals in the Umana's nerves.
