Ionramhail

Meaning: Manipulate | Pronunciation: [un-ra-va-l]

After the Unintentional Calamity, when most of the Humana and Scath race have mastered Taisteal and Atheagru respectively, there will be innovations trying to teach one person both Atheagru and Taisteal magic. Upon success of teaching both branches of magic, new abilities will be revealed. This technique of using both branches magic at once will result in a new branch of magic known as Ionramhail. With the power of both reorganization and travel, the creatures of Domhain will have new enhanced abilities such as permanent portals, controlled personal environments, and eventually even teleportation.

Due to Chelsen's odd nature of learning Atheagru rather than Taisteal magic first because of his interaction with the Comptana, he is the first to use Ionramhail magic and eventually becomes an integral part of the School of Magic council.

Permanent Portals

While Taisteal magic gives a user the ability to manipulate space, allowing a creature to connect any two points that normally do not connect, there is no way to make those two points stick. When a portal is created, the only thing tethering a portal is a creatures concentration while using Taisteal magic. By adding in Atheagru magic to this technique, it is possible to tether a portal to a specific point by reorganizing matter to stop it from naturally snapping back to its original form.

This breakthrough will be one of the single biggest contributions to the modern era, allowing the transportation of goods and services to be almost instantaneous compared to previous forms of transportation.

Controlled Personal Environment

Taisteal magic has the ability to keep matter from entering a space as it can stretch space around a creature. Unfortunately, this magic cannot reorganize matter to selectively let certain matter through this stretched space. With the help of Atheagru magic, space can be stretched and a membrane can be formed allowing certain matter through.

This innovation will allow creatures to travel in previously unreachable areas. For example, a creature with the ability to create a controlled personal environment could simply walk into a body of water without fear of drowning or suffocating. While this was partially possible before with Taisteal magic, most suffocated when trying to travel in a controlled environment due to lack of air to breath.

Teleportation

The first use of Atheagru magic by Chelsen was to heal people by stopping them from decaying by the Comptana's plague. This first use showed the capabilities to reorganize matter. Hypothetically, a creature could scatter their matter and reform themselves just as most Scath naturally do. With the help of Taisteal magic, that scattered matter could then be easily transported a near limitless distance assuming a creature was able to produce the energy to do so.
