Wild Moon

Although the School of Nature has never confirmed how many pieces there are, the Wild Moon artifact is believed to exist in every Cinniuint beast that roams the North-western continent of Domhain. These artifact pieces tend to protrude on or near the skin of a Cinniuint beast glowing bright and blue. The artifacts have received their name from this glow that can be seen in the night partially illuminating the silhouette of the beast.

The power of the Wild Moon artifact originates from the massive amounts of Atheagru magic stored by an ancient Umana civilization. No one knows why this artifact was made or how it shattered into so many tiny pieces, but the School of Nature was able to deduce that the shattered object was most likely resting in Cloud Breaker Mountain where many Cinniuint reside. It appears that when any normal creature makes contact (especially through digestion) the creature will grow at abnormal rates. In addition to the accelerated growth, it also can enhance certain natural defenses of the creature making it stronger, faster, sharper, and far more deadly than before. There is no known limit to how much a creature can grow even after the artifact has been drained (which has yet to happen).
