The Great Scar

The Great Scar is a massive river that divides three continents in the world of Domhain. The river is always gentle flowing from the innermost part of the three continents to the ocean.

Most of the time people to not attempt to cross The Great Scar as a stormy night can cause huge unrest, taking the lives of many who thought the waters to be calm. In the north near Modara there is a port that only has to travel a small distance to cross The Great Scar. Due to the safety of this crossing, much trade and travel utilizes this convenient bridge.

Just south of Iris there are many places to also cross The Great Scar to another continent, which is why the Schools of Reasoning are spending much time engineering new bridges that could help anyone across the river in a safe manner. No one has been successful thus far in creating such a feat (until after the School of Magic is established and the One Architect artifact is made).
