Description

Mia grew up with her parents by her side until she was old enough to take care of herself at the age of seven. They left without notice giving her everything they had. No one in the village of Thymos appeared to know why they left without any belongings. Shocked by the abandonment, Mia quickly learned her parents trade making sure she needed to rely on no one. In an attempt to somehow right the wrong she had received, it was her life’s goal to make sure she was the most reliable person she knew.

Within a the next few years Mia was able to become the blacksmith that everyone relied on. The townsfolk often got into fights with nearby towns, and left their equipment on the battlefield even more often. Although she was too young to realistically fight in a war, she was strong enough to forge the tools they would all need to fight those wars. When people need help, she was there. She promised to never abandon the town, always protecting it.

Unfortunately, Mia was fated to follow in her parents’ footsteps. The plague eventually hit her city, and she was unable to help. Despite her best efforts, her skills could not protect or even help the ones she loved. One day, when a strange boy named Chelsen came into town he was able to cure everyone. He did the impossible. He did a better job than she did. Just like her parents, Mia decided to leave town on a whim to learn how Chelsen healed everyone and follow her life’s goal to be the most reliable person she knew.

Later on, Mia will meet her mom. Mia's mother will then go on to explain that she was forced to leave because of their lineage. It all happened within a year, when Mia's mother found out that they had family in Loch. For many Thymosians, this raised a lot of suspicion. It was soon found out that Mia and her family were desendants of Kaire who betrayed the village when they were at war with the Modarians. A deal was made with Mia's parents. Both her parents were to be banished from the village so Mia could stay as she did not have any knowledge of her lineage. This was the best they could do as they were fearful if they all left together that some fighters from Thymos would have eventually hunted them down.

Mia's parents later went on to live in the Liminal Forest as it was the only place they would be accepted. A house now stands in the forest that Mia will eventually stumble upon.
