Description

Volida grew up in a distant town on another continent. After they finished learning the way of music from the School of Technology, they said goodbye to their parents and went off to spread the joy of their talent. It took two years for Volida to finally end up at another music institution, where Myrian was also studying to become a bard. Normally Volida hated other bards as they always vied for attention, but Myrian was different. She was very devoted to her study.

As an excuse to spend more time with Myrian, Volida eventually encouraged Myrian to agree to let Volida help with her studies. Within the next couple of months, they moved to the outskirts of Iris where Myrian could study the strange, nontraditional music of Iris while having a quiet place to work. No one would be able to hear them. Volida was just happy to tag along, always looking to get attention from Myrian. Unfortunately, Myrian was more dedicated to her studies than she was to Volida. This did put slight stress on their relationship. Volida ended up becoming good friends with most of the people in Iris (not so coincidentally because no one considered themselves “bards”.) Volida was actually the first point of contact with Mith, eventually getting Myrian to meet him. They connected instantly. Volida never said it, but they were always jealous of the level of connection Myrian and Mith had, especially with how straightforward both of them were. Volida never understood due to their more kindhearted nature they had developed while traveling for the past two years.

Ironically, Volida would later die trying to save Mith by retrieving a flower to help cure his sickness. Their death would kill Myrian’s joy for music and encourage her to pursue a career in medicine to make sure no one close to her could be hurt again.
