Atheagru

Meaning: Reorganization | Pronunciation: [ah-ha-gru]

Atheagru is one of two types of magic that allows an Umana to manipulate matter by reorganizing matter itself. The most common use would be to heal a creature or disintegrate an object.

This type of magic is most often used by the Scath, as they have an natural affinity to Atheagru. Due to the plague sent by the Comptana, some Umana’s bodies end up going fighting the natural affects of the plague. Rather than disintegrating, an Umana struggles to keep themselves together. This process, regardless of an individuals capacity for magic, appears to happen at a consistent level. The result of this internal struggle is a new race called Scath. Since their bodies have successfully fought the Atheagru like symptoms, they gain an inherent knowledge of how to manipulate matter themselves.
